Hey bloggers! Today is my post on the Clear Scraps blog
and I thought I'd share this tutorial for an acrylic
ATC here as well.
I love doing small projects!
I printed a picture on vellum paper, then spread matte
super heavy gel to stick it to the acrylic. I used my
brayer to get out any bubbles or wrinkles and let it dry.
After it was dry I trimmed it down and sanded the edges.
I colored over most of the areas with alcohol ink- looking back now
I think it would be even better looking had I mask off their faces
with a cute shape -like a heart.
Then I dug through my stash and found this old rub-on
of the word "Adore". I know it's hard to tell but the
whole card (except the rub-on) is transparent.
I think this would be a great technique for a
coaster...
hmmm I think I feel another project coming on!
