Celebrating 21 days of thankfulness I must include adoption.
Many of you know my little ones are adopted - they know it too, it's never been a secret.
LOL it's also kinda hard to hide with a blond in the family -
but he is a riot, he will tell you everybody else is adopted but not him!
When he was little he kept cutting his own hair - I mean down to the skin!
When we asked him why he did that he said it keeps growing in the wrong color!
So cute! We told him we love his hair and that God made Him special,
he was perfect just way he is!
Our family would not be complete without them
and for that I am thankful.

This layout was made with the Heirloom Christmas Stack from DCWV.
Note that the Santa on the page is not colored in one the paper- I did that
with my Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft® White Pen, PITT® Artist Pens

Love reading abut your family, Rita! :) Your family photos are amazing - I might be lifting the Scrabble letters idea! :)
Love the family photos! Our family is thankful for adoption, too! :) FIL was adopted...my uncle/godfather was adopted...my brother's wife (SIL) was adopted...and my middle daughter is adopted! :)
Love the story about your son!!! Thanks for sharing with us! I'm loving getting to know you better through your thankfulness series!
Rita~ wonderful pictures of your beautiful family!!
I love that you colored the Santa image. He looks great with your picture.
You have a beautiful family!!! I am thankful for adoption also as I have 2 adopted children and 1 bio child - I love them all - regardless. The bio Mom is coming today for thanksgiving and I am thankful that we can have this relationship as it means a lot to my little ones!
My youngest son (now 23) is adopted. But his birth mother is my daughter. There are Many grandparents raising the kids of their children. My son knows where he came from and the whole story. We could not possibly love him more. And he could not be a better person. He is happy and loves us as much as we love him.
When you choose to take a child into your home, your life and change you future plans because of him, that kind of love shows. Blessing from me to you and yours today and everyday....Judy
Beautiful family, and it has been so nice to read about your journey and put the faces to the story's. You and your husband are doing a wonderful job of parenting. Keep smiling one and all.
Thanks for sharing your lovely famipy pics Rita, I enjoy getting to know you more through your words and pics... Have a blessed rest of the week.
If I could afford to adopt, I TOTALLY would. It's such a wonderful thing to do for the child, and for everyone involved! Hope you had a joyous Thanksgiving :)
