Welcome to my blog! Today I am particpating in the April blog hop for Scrap Gal ! We want to give you a little taste of what we do over at Scrap Gal by sharing this months challenges in one blog hop!
Make sure you stop by all of the designers blogs and leave a comment (we all need a little love sometimes) then don't forget to stop at the Scrap Gal blog and leave a comment telling us that you liked about the blog hop for a chance to win this..
In addition to winning prizes along the way you can participate in this months challenges at Scrap Gal
for another chance to win a prize!
So my challenge is to create something for someone you care about,
leaving them with a meaningful message from you!
I made this for my girls- I will hang it in the bathroom to remind them they are amazing just how they are! With so many mixed messages for our culture and the media
I want to make sure I am doing everything I can to empower my girls.
What message will you leave?
Note that I made the girl with the same coloring as my girls.
When my oldest was little she always wanted her hair blond like Barbie or red like Ariel,
I am so glad that dolls & barbies come in lots of different colors,
now if we could only adjust the body shapes ( but that's another day...)
Little (and big) girls should know that God made them beautiful, just the way they are.
Supplies: American Crafts pattern papers, Scrap FX Chipboard, Melissa Frances frame, Shimmerz Spritz in Ruby, Pop Art Pink & Barn Door, Prima bling & flowers, Tim Holtz tissue tape, We R Memory Keepers Sew Easy floss, Faber-Castell Gesso & PITT Metallic Artist Pens & Gelatos
