Got Vintage?

5
Have you noticed that old things have become new again? I am seeing lots of vintage items in peoples work. I found this very cool website run by Heidi at http://shabbychicpapirskatter.blogspot.com/.
I don’t know where she gets these images but she finds some really pretty images. I thought it would be fun to incorporate one these images on a card or lo. All you have to do is click on the image, (you want to make it larger first) then you can save it or print it.(I printed mine on photo paper.) Easy peasy!

Because this project is not s scrapbook page I dont have to worry about acid free items, I used an old piece of sheet music. I inked the edges of the paper.
I have used a Zig photo marker on my photo to give mine a little color.3
I used variious rub ons  - rub ons work great on acrylic! I used Staz On ink for the edges and a few other random items in my stash!

I am lucky enough to have a friend who makes these pretty crochet flowers for me.

I actually used one the pages in the 8x8 acrylic album by Clear Scraps! I love using things in a different way than expected!

Rita this is truly gorgeous, you have given me some great ideas, I love how you alter the colour slightly with a zig, and wow, this is just perfect.

WOWZAH!!! I love that you made this on a transparancy... the pictures get that little "extra" that left me guessing until you said it was a transparency... it's gorgeous!

Have you used chipboard before for wall hangings?
